Setup
Charging Your Earbuds
Before first use, fully charge your Beats Flex. Connect the included USB-C to USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the inline control module and to a compatible USB-C power adapter (sold separately) or a USB-C port on a computer. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of listening time. With Fast Fuel charging, a 10-minute charge can provide 1.5 hours of playback when the battery is low.

Pairing with Your Device
The Beats Flex are compatible with both Apple and Android devices, offering seamless connectivity thanks to the Apple W1 headphone chip and Class 1 Bluetooth technology for extended range and fewer dropouts.

Magnetic Earbuds with Auto-Play/Pause
The Beats Flex earbuds feature magnetic sensors. When the earbuds are connected together (magnets touching), your audio will automatically pause. Separating them will resume playback, allowing for seamless transitions in your listening experience.

Audio Sharing
With Audio Sharing, you can wirelessly share audio from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV to another pair of Beats headphones or AirPods. This allows two people to listen to the same audio simultaneously.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Earbuds
To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your Beats Flex earbuds. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the earbuds and the Flex-Form cable. For the eartips, you can gently remove them and clean with a mild soap solution, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
Storage
When not in use, store your Beats Flex in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures. The magnetic earbuds help prevent tangling, making them easy to store around your neck or in a small pouch.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Beats Flex, try the following solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the earbuds are fully charged. Connect them to a power source using the USB-C cable.
- Cannot Pair:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Ensure the Beats Flex are in pairing mode (indicator light blinking).
- Move the earbuds closer to your device.
- Forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
- Poor Sound Quality:
- Check the fit of the eartips. Try different sizes for a better seal.
- Clean the eartips and speaker grilles to remove any debris.
- Ensure your audio source is of good quality.
- Intermittent Connection:
- Move closer to your connected device to reduce interference.
- Ensure there are no major obstructions between the earbuds and your device.
- Restart both your device and the Beats Flex.
