4. Setup and Installation

This kit features a plug-in T-Harness design, significantly reducing the complexity of wiring connections. Basic knowledge of car electronics is recommended for successful installation. Refer to the provided QR code for the most up-to-date installation instructions and plug locations.

General Installation Steps:

  1. Access Vehicle Wiring: Locate the necessary wiring harnesses behind the dashboard, typically near the steering column or OBD-II port.

5. Operating Instructions

The MPC Remote Starter Kit utilizes your vehicle's existing factory key fobs for remote start functionality. No additional remotes are required.

To Remote Start Your Vehicle:

  1. Ensure all vehicle doors, hood, and tailgate are closed.
  2. Press the LOCK button on your factory remote three (3) times in quick succession: LOCK - UNLOCK - LOCK.
  3. The vehicle's engine will start. The parking lights will illuminate to indicate the vehicle is running.

The remote start will run for a preset duration (typically 15 minutes) or until the vehicle is entered and the ignition is turned on.

To Turn Off Remote Start:

  • Press the LOCK button on your factory remote three (3) times again: LOCK - UNLOCK - LOCK.
  • Alternatively, pressing the brake pedal inside the vehicle will also turn off the remote start.
