Connect the electrical wires from your ceiling to the corresponding wires of the lamp holder. Typically, this involves connecting the live wire (usually black or red) to the live terminal, the neutral wire (usually white or blue) to the neutral terminal, and the ground wire (usually green or bare copper) to the ground terminal. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician. Ensure all connections are tight and insulated with electrical tape or wire nuts.
  4. Attach the Lamp Holder to the Ceiling Plate: Carefully tuck the wires into the ceiling box. Secure the lamp holder assembly to the mounted ceiling plate. This usually involves screwing the lamp holder's base onto the ceiling plate or using a locking mechanism.
  5. Install the Bulb: Screw an E27 base light bulb (not included) into the lamp holder. Do not overtighten.
  6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

This lamp holder is designed for simple operation.

  • Power On/Off: If your model includes an integrated switch, use it to turn the light on or off. Otherwise, operate the light using the wall switch connected to the circuit.
  • Bulb Replacement: To replace the bulb, ensure the power is off at the wall switch or circuit breaker. Allow the bulb to cool completely before unscrewing it counter-clockwise. Screw in a new E27 bulb clockwise until snug.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your lamp holder.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the lamp holder and ceiling plate with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
