1. Introduction and Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions

  • Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Remove all packing materials and accessories. Inspect the oven for any damage such as dents or a broken door. Do not install if the oven is damaged.
  2. Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in the oven.
  3. Ensure adequate ventilation. Maintain a minimum of 3 inches (7.5 cm) of space between the oven and any adjacent walls. A minimum of 12 inches (30 cm) is required above the oven.
  4. Do not block air vents. Blocking the air vents during operation may damage the oven and cause poor cooking results.
  5. Keep the oven away from radio and TV to avoid interference.
  6. Plug the oven into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

4. Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

  • Start/+30 Sec: Starts cooking or adds 30 seconds to cooking time.
  • Stop/Cancel: Stops cooking or clears settings.
  • Memory: Save and recall custom cooking settings.

Basic Cooking

  1. Place food in the microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Close the door.
  3. Press Time Cook.
  4. Enter desired cooking time using the numeric keypad.
  5. Press Power and then select a power level (1-10). For full power, skip this step.
  6. Press Start/+30 Sec to begin cooking.

Defrosting

Use the Time Defrost or Weight Defrost functions for optimal results.

  • Time Defrost: Enter the desired defrosting time.
  • Weight Defrost: Enter the weight of the food in ounces. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.

Child Safety Lock

To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Stop/Cancel button for 3 seconds. The display will show an indicator. To deactivate, repeat the process.
