Setup
Initial Charging:
Before first use, fully charge the helmet's internal battery for 24 hours using the provided USB charging cable. The charging port is located inside the helmet. Ensure the rubber protector is in place when not charging to prevent debris entry.
Headgear Adjustment:
The ISOFIT headgear is designed for comfort and weight distribution. Adjust the top straps and the rear dial to achieve a snug and balanced fit on your head. The headgear allows for vertical adjustment of the helmet to align the lens with your eyes.
Nose Protection Pad Installation:
If the internal plastic makes contact with your nose, install the provided nose protection pad for added comfort.
Cover Lens Installation/Replacement:
The helmet comes with an external cover lens installed. A spare is included. To replace, carefully remove the old lens and snap the new one into place.
Operating Instructions
Mode Selection (Auto/Manual):
Locate the mode switch inside the helmet.
- Auto Mode: The helmet automatically adjusts the shade based on arc intensity. Use the fine-tune dial for minor adjustments within the auto-darkening range.
- Manual Mode: Flip the switch to manual. Use the dedicated dial to set the exact desired shade (4-12).
Delay Adjustment:
The delay dial controls the time it takes for the lens to return from dark to light after the arc extinguishes. Increase the delay for applications with intermittent arcs to prevent rapid flashing. Note: The transition from light to dark is always instantaneous.
Sensitivity Adjustment:
The sensitivity dial controls how readily the auto-darkening filter reacts to light. Adjust sensitivity based on ambient light conditions and welding process. For very bright environments, a lower sensitivity may prevent unwanted darkening. For low-amperage TIG welding, a higher sensitivity might be required.
Grind Mode:
Activate grind mode by pressing the button located on the side of the helmet. A blue indicator light will flash inside the helmet when grind mode is active, indicating that the auto-darkening function is disabled. Ensure grind mode is deactivated before welding.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
Regularly clean the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the internal and external cover lenses with a soft cloth and a mild lens cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials.
Storage:
Store the helmet in the provided storage bag in a dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Lens Not Darkening:
- Check battery charge.
- Ensure sensors are clean and unobstructed.
- Verify sensitivity settings are appropriate for the welding process.
- Confirm grind mode is not active.
Lens Flashing On/Off:
- Adjust delay setting.
- Increase sensitivity if welding at very low amperages.
- Ensure ambient light is not interfering with sensors.
Uncomfortable Fit:
- Re-adjust headgear straps and dial.
- Ensure nose protection pad is correctly installed if needed.
