Operating Instructions

1. Preparing Your Pet

  • Ensure your pet's coat is clean, dry, and free of tangles or mats. Brush thoroughly before clipping.
  • Familiarize your pet with the clipper's sound and vibration before turning it on. The Gooad clipper features a Q-SUS Low-Noise-Tech, operating at less than 60dB to minimize pet anxiety.

  • To adjust blade length: Rotate the black ring on the clipper body to select desired length (0.8, 1.1, 1.4, 1.7, or 2.0mm).
  • To attach a guide comb: Slide the comb onto the clipper blade until it securely snaps into place. Choose from 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, or 12mm combs.
  • To remove a guide comb: Gently lift the comb from the back and slide it off the blade.

  • Hold the clipper firmly and move it in the direction of hair growth. Use smooth, even strokes.
  • Use the wide blade for general body grooming and the narrow blade for sensitive areas like paws, face, and ears.
  • Take breaks as needed to prevent the clipper from overheating and to keep your pet comfortable.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Blades

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your clipper. The blades are detachable for easy cleaning.

  • After each use, turn off the clipper and remove the blade (refer to Setup section).
  • Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any trapped hair from the blade and clipper head.
  • The clipper features a waterproof design. You can rinse the blades under running water. Ensure the clipper body is not submerged.
  • Dry the blades thoroughly before reattaching them to the clipper.

2. Oiling the Blades

To maintain cutting efficiency and prevent blade wear, apply a few drops of lubricating oil to the blades after every few uses or after cleaning.

  • Apply 1-2 drops of the provided oil to the teeth of the blade.
  • Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly.
  • Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth.
