  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the wok for any damage. Keep packaging for future storage or disposal.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the wok pan, glass lid, bamboo spatula, and chopsticks with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not immerse the electrical heating unit or thermostat in water.
  3. Placement: Place the electric wok on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  4. Attach Thermostat: Insert the removable thermostat into the socket on the side of the wok pan. Ensure it is securely fitted.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable wall outlet (1500W, 220-240V). The indicator light on the thermostat will illuminate when power is supplied.

Operating Instructions

Cooking with the Electric Wok:

  1. Preheating: After connecting the power, turn the thermostat dial to your desired heat setting. The indicator light will glow, indicating the wok is heating. The wok has a quick heat-up time of 2-3 minutes.
  2. Temperature Control: The 5-stage thermostat allows you to adjust the heat precisely for various cooking needs. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed. The indicator light will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
  3. Adding Ingredients: Once preheated, add a small amount of cooking oil (if desired, as it's non-stick) and then your ingredients. The 5-liter capacity is suitable for family meals.
  4. Stir-Frying: Use the provided bamboo spatula or chopsticks to stir ingredients evenly. The non-stick surface ensures food does not stick.
  5. Using the Lid: The glass lid can be used to simmer, steam, or keep food warm. The steam vent hole helps prevent excessive pressure buildup.
  6. Finishing: Once cooking is complete, turn the thermostat dial to the "OFF" position and unplug the wok from the wall outlet.

Tips for Best Results:

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Bestron Electric Wok.

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the wok from the power outlet and remove the thermostat control unit before cleaning.
  2. Cool Down: Allow the wok to cool completely before cleaning to prevent warping or damage to the non-stick coating.
  3. Wok Pan: The non-stick electric pan is recommended for hand washing only. Use a soft sponge or cloth with warm soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick surface. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
  4. Glass Lid: The glass lid can be washed by hand with warm soapy water.
  5. Thermostat Control Unit: Wipe the thermostat control unit with a slightly damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  6. Bamboo Accessories: Wash the bamboo spatula and chopsticks by hand with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Do not soak them for extended periods.
  7. Storage: Store the clean and dry wok and its accessories in a safe, dry place.
