1. Wall Mounting
The key box is designed for secure wall mounting. Follow these steps for installation:
- Choose a suitable location on a sturdy wall. Ensure the wall material can support the weight of the lock box and its contents.
- Hold the key box against the wall at the desired height and mark the positions for the mounting holes. Use a level to ensure it is straight.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type.
- Insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes.
- Align the key box with the anchors and secure it to the wall using the provided screws. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.

2. Setting the 3-Digit Combination Lock
The default combination for the lock box is 0-0-0. To set your personal combination, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Lock Box
Adjust the dials to the default "0-0-0" position and twist the button to the "unlock" position to open the lock box door.

Step 2: Engage the Reset Mechanism
With the door open, locate the small lever or slot on the inside of the lock mechanism. Use your fingers to move the lock slot from position A to position B. Do not push directly from A to B; move it to the side first, then up.

Step 3: Set Your New Combination
While the reset mechanism is engaged, set your desired 3-digit code by rolling the dials. For example, "321". Ensure all numbers are centered in the display window.

Step 4: Disengage the Reset Mechanism
Move the lock slot back from position B to position A to complete the code setting. Your new password is now active. Remember your new combination.

To reset the password again: Use the currently set password as the initial password, then repeat steps 1-4.

Using Key Hooks and Labels
- Attach individual keys or keychains to the provided key rings.
- Slide the key rings onto the numbered key tags.
- Hang the key tags onto the corresponding hooks inside the lock box for organized storage.

Note: The hooks and depth of the cabinet may not accommodate bulky car keys with remote fobs effectively.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Lock Mechanism: The combination lock is designed for durability. Avoid forcing the dials or the knob. If the mechanism feels stiff, a small amount of graphite lubricant can be applied, but this is rarely necessary.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check the wall mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot open the lock box:
- Ensure the correct 3-digit combination is entered.
- Verify that the knob is twisted fully to the unlock position.
- If you forgot your combination, there is no master key or override. You will need to try known combinations or contact customer support for potential solutions, though typically a forgotten combination cannot be recovered without destructive entry.
- Dials are stiff or difficult to turn:
- Ensure the lock mechanism is clean and free of debris.
- Apply a small amount of dry lubricant (e.g., graphite powder) to the dials if necessary.
- Lock box feels loose on the wall:
- Check and tighten the mounting screws.
- If the wall anchors are damaged, consider relocating the lock box or using new anchors suitable for your wall type.
