5. Initial Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
The HT625B anemometer requires three (3) 1.5V AAA batteries for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert three AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press the red Power Button (①).
- To power off: Press and hold the red Power Button (①) for approximately 2 seconds. The device also features an auto-off function to conserve battery power.

6.3. Changing Measurement Units
Press the UNIT button to cycle through available units for wind speed (m/s, km/h, ft/s, Knots, Mile/h, ft/m) and temperature (℃ / ℉).
6.4. Data Hold Function
To freeze the current reading on the display:
- Press the DP/WS button briefly. The 'HOLD' indicator will appear on the screen.
- Press the DP/WS button again to release the data hold and resume real-time measurements.
6.5. Max/Min/Avg Readings
To view maximum, minimum, or average recorded values:
- Press the FUNC button repeatedly to cycle through MAX (maximum), MIN (minimum), and AVG (average) readings.
- The corresponding indicator (MAX, MIN, AVG) will appear on the display.
- Press FUNC again to return to real-time measurement.
6.6. Dew Point and Wet Bulb Temperature
While in temperature measurement mode, press and hold the DP/WS button to switch between Dew Point and Wet Bulb temperature displays.
