Introduction

The Orzly RX-250 Hornet Edition is a full-size, 104-key wired membrane gaming keyboard designed for a wide range of platforms including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Steam Deck, ROG ALLY, and Mac. It features 19-key rollover with Anti-Ghosting technology for accurate keystroke registration during intense use. The keyboard is ergonomically designed for comfort during extended sessions and includes customizable RGB backlighting.

Setup

Connecting the Keyboard

1. Locate an available USB port on your computer or gaming console.
2. Plug the USB cable from the Orzly RX-250 keyboard into the USB port.
3. The keyboard is plug-and-play, meaning no additional drivers or software are typically required for basic functionality. Your system should automatically detect and configure the device.

The keyboard is compatible with Windows 7 or later, Mac, PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Steam Deck, and ROG ALLY.

Operating Instructions

RGB Backlighting Controls

The RX-250 features vibrant RGB lighting with customizable modes and brightness levels.

• Color Cycle: Press the FN key + Light Bulb icon key to cycle through different lighting modes.
• Color Breathing: Press the FN key + Light Bulb icon key repeatedly to activate dynamic breathing effects.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use FN + Page Up to increase brightness and FN + Page Down to decrease brightness. There are 4 adjustable brightness levels.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your keyboard, regular cleaning is recommended.

• Disconnect the keyboard from your device before cleaning.
• Use a can of compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keys.
• Wipe the keycaps and keyboard surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• The keyboard features integrated drainage ports to protect against accidental spills. In case of a spill, disconnect immediately and allow to dry completely before reconnecting.

Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the keyboard and the device.
  • Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port.
  • Restart your computer or console.
• Backlighting not working:
  • Check if the backlighting is turned off using the FN + Light Bulb icon key combination.
  • Adjust brightness levels using FN + Page Up/Page Down.
• Keys not registering or ghosting:
  • Ensure the keyboard is clean and free of debris that might be obstructing key presses.
  • The keyboard features 19-key rollover and anti-ghosting, but extreme simultaneous key presses beyond this limit may not register.
