Setup

  3. Attach the Pop Shield: Connect the pop shield to the shock mount or microphone stand. Position it approximately 2-3 inches in front of the microphone. The pop shield reduces plosive sounds (like 'p' and 'b') during vocal recordings.

  4. Connect the XLR Cable: Plug one end of the 20' XLR cable into the bottom of the TM1 microphone. Connect the other end to an audio interface, mixer, or preamplifier that provides 48V phantom power. The TM1 is a condenser microphone and requires phantom power to operate.
