4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The AP-570S-APP requires 2 AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Ensure the meter is powered OFF.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the meter.
- Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.
- Insert the 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
If the battery symbol flashes on the display, the battery is low and needs replacement for continued normal operation.
4.2 Bluetooth APP Connection
The meter can connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth for data measurement and analysis using the 'AiLink' app.

Image 4.1: Visual guide for connecting the meter to the AiLink mobile application.
- Step 1: Download the App. Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for 'AiLink' in the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS). Download and install the application. The app is compatible with iPhone 4S (iOS 7.0 and up) or Android 4.30 systems and up. You can also visit aicare.net.cn/app/ailink/download/ for direct download.
- Step 2: Connect to the Phone. Open the 'AiLink' app. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. The app should automatically pair with the clamp meter nearby. Press the 'App' button within the application to initiate the connection.
- Step 3: Start Measurement. Once connected, you can start measurements, save data, and analyze it through the mobile app.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Operation
To begin a measurement, turn the Rotary Switch to the desired function. Use the SELECT button to toggle between AC/DC modes or other sub-functions if available within that range.
5.2 Measurement Functions
The AP-570S-APP offers the following measurement capabilities:
- AC/DC Voltage: Measure AC voltage from 6V to 750V and DC voltage from 600mV to 1000V. Connect test leads to the VΩHzT+ and COM jacks.
- AC/DC Current: Measure AC/DC current from 600A to 1000A using the clamp jaws. Ensure the conductor is centered within the jaws.
- Resistance: Measure resistance from 600Ω to 60MΩ. Connect test leads to the VΩHzT+ and COM jacks.
- Capacitance: Measure capacitance from 6nF to 60mF. Connect test leads to the VΩHzT+ and COM jacks.
- Frequency: Measure frequency from 9.999Hz to 9.999MHz. Use the Hz/Duty key to switch to frequency measurement.
- Temperature: Measure temperature from -20℃ to 1000℃ (-4℉ to 1832℉) using the included thermocouple. The unit can be switched between ℃ and ℉.
- Diode & Continuity Test: Perform diode and audible continuity tests. Connect test leads to the VΩHzT+ and COM jacks.
- Non-Contact AC Voltage (NCV) Detection: Detect AC voltage without physical contact. Place the NCV detection area near the conductor. The meter will indicate voltage presence with an audible sound and light.
