1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

• Motor Unit: The main body of the hand blender containing the motor and control buttons.
• Stainless Steel Mixing Foot: The blending attachment with sharp blades and PowerBell Plus technology for efficient blending and SplashControl design to prevent splashing.
• Blend & Go Accessory: A specialized attachment for blending directly into a portable sports bottle.
• 600 ml Sports Bottles (x2): Two portable bottles with lids, designed for use with the Blend & Go accessory, perfect for smoothies on the go.

4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section.

4.1 Attaching the Blending Foot

1. Ensure the motor unit is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Align the blending foot with the motor unit.
3. Push the blending foot onto the motor unit until it clicks into place. The EasyClick System ensures a secure connection.

4.2 Attaching the Blend & Go Accessory

1. Ensure the motor unit is unplugged.
2. Fill one of the 600 ml sports bottles with your desired ingredients. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
3. Screw the Blend & Go accessory (with its blade unit) onto the open end of the sports bottle.
4. Align the assembled Blend & Go bottle with the motor unit.
5. Push the Blend & Go accessory onto the motor unit until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

The Braun MultiQuick 5 Vario Fit Hand Blender is designed for ease of use and efficient blending.

5.1 Powering On and Off

• Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
• To start blending, press and hold the power button (I).
• To stop blending, release the power button.

5.2 Adjusting Speed Settings

Your hand blender features 21 variable speed settings for precise control.

• While holding the power button (I), rotate the speed selector wheel located at the top of the motor unit.
• Turn the wheel towards '+' for higher speeds and towards '-' for lower speeds.
• For an instant burst of maximum power, press the Turbo button (T).

5.3 Using the Blending Foot

1. Attach the stainless steel mixing foot to the motor unit.
2. Place the blending foot into the ingredients you wish to process. Ensure the ingredients are in a suitable container.
3. Press the power button (I) and adjust the speed as needed. Move the blender gently up and down to ensure even blending.
4. The unique PowerBell Plus design and SplashControl technology help to blend ingredients finely and keep your kitchen clean.
5. When finished, release the power button and unplug the appliance before detaching the blending foot.

5.4 Using the Blend & Go Accessory

1. Assemble the Blend & Go accessory with a sports bottle as described in Section 4.2.
2. Ensure the bottle is securely attached to the Blend & Go blade unit and the entire assembly is clicked onto the motor unit.
3. Invert the blender so the bottle is facing downwards.
4. Press the power button (I) to start blending. Blend until desired consistency is achieved.
5. Release the power button, unplug the appliance, and detach the Blend & Go assembly.
6. Unscrew the blade unit from the sports bottle and replace it with the drinking lid for convenient transport.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Motor Unit

• Always unplug the motor unit before cleaning.
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.

6.2 Cleaning Accessories

• The stainless steel mixing foot, Blend & Go accessory (blade unit and bottles), and lids are dishwasher safe.
