Important Safety Instructions

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the heating cycle.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.
• Do not fill above the maximum fill line or below the minimum fill line.

Components:

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.
4. Cord Management: Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in a position where it can be tripped over or pulled by children.

Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum (0.5L) or above the maximum (1.7L) fill lines indicated inside the kettle. Close the lid securely.

   

2. Place on Power Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its 360° rotational power base. Ensure it is properly seated.
3. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
4. Start Boiling: Press the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom of the handle downwards. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.

   

5. Automatic Shutoff: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will turn off.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Always hold the handle firmly.
7. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, wait a few seconds for the internal thermostat to reset, then press the ON/OFF switch again.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
• Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.
• The filter can be removed for cleaning. Rinse it under running water and brush gently if necessary. Ensure it is properly re-inserted before use.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly (e.g., monthly or bi-monthly depending on water hardness).

1. Fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water, or use a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions.
2. Allow the solution to soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil it if recommended by the descaling agent.
3. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times to remove any residue and odor.
