Setup

Before first use, remove all packaging materials and check to ensure all parts and accessories are accounted for. Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ensure the unit is completely dry before assembly.

Priming the Unit

1. Fill the removable water reservoir with room-temperature water up to the MAX line.
2. Place the water reservoir back into the unit, ensuring it clicks into place.
3. Fill the milk reservoir with water up to the MAX line.
4. Attach the milk reservoir to the unit, ensuring the froth dispensing tube is positioned over the drip tray.
5. Plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet.
6. Press the Power Switch on the side of the unit. The display will light up.
7. Press the CLEAN icon on the control panel. The unit will run a cleaning cycle.
8. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, the unit will beep three times, and all buttons will light up. The unit is now primed and ready for use.

Operating Instructions

The Chefman 6-in-1 Espresso Machine+ offers a variety of coffee options with simple one-touch controls.

Brewing Espresso

1. Choose either the single or double shot basket and place it into the portafilter.
2. Fill the basket with desired amount of ground coffee using the measuring scoop. Tamp firmly with the tamper.
3. Attach the portafilter to the group/brew head by aligning it and twisting to the right until it locks.
4. Place your cup on the removable metal coaster.
5. Select 'Espresso' and choose 'Single' or 'Double' on the control panel. The machine will begin brewing.

Making Cappuccinos and Lattes

1. Prepare your espresso shot as described above.
2. Fill the removable milk reservoir with desired amount of milk (up to MAX line).
3. Attach the milk reservoir to the unit, ensuring the froth dispensing tube is positioned over your cup.
4. Adjust the Froth Strength Control on the lid for desired frothiness.
5. Select 'Cappuccino' or 'Latte' and choose 'Single' or 'Double' on the control panel. The machine will first froth the milk, then brew the espresso.
