Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The freezer is equipped with a mechanical temperature control system. The control dial is typically located on the front lower right side of the unit.

Figure 3: Close-up of the temperature control panel, typically found on the lower right side of the freezer.
- Turn the dial to adjust the temperature. Lower numbers typically indicate warmer temperatures, while higher numbers indicate colder temperatures.
- For initial startup or fast freezing, set the dial to the coldest setting (e.g., "Fast Freezing" or highest number) for 24 hours.
- Adjust the setting based on the ambient temperature and the amount of food stored.
Fast Freezing Function
This function rapidly lowers the freezer's temperature to quickly freeze fresh food, preserving its quality. Activate by setting the temperature control to the "Fast Freezing" position. Return to normal setting after 24 hours or once food is frozen.
Key Lock
The freezer is equipped with a key lock for security. Use the provided key to lock or unlock the lid as needed.
Inner Light
An internal light illuminates the freezer compartment when the lid is opened, providing visibility of stored items.
Maintenance and Care
Manual Defrost System
This freezer features a manual defrost system. Frost buildup on the interior walls can reduce efficiency. Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches approximately 5-10 mm (0.2-0.4 inches) thick.
- Preparation: Unplug the freezer from the power outlet. Remove all food items and store them in a cool place or another freezer.
- Defrosting: Leave the lid open. Place towels or a shallow pan at the bottom to collect melting ice. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the freezer.
- Cleaning: Once all ice has melted, clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Restart: Close the lid, plug the freezer back in, and allow it to cool down for a few hours before returning food.
General Cleaning
- Clean the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
- Regularly clean the condenser coils at the back of the freezer (if accessible) to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure the door seal is clean and free of debris to maintain a tight seal.
