Safety Information

• Ensure the charging base is placed on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance (2 feet on each side, 5 feet in front).
• Do not operate the robot near open flames, flammable liquids, or explosive materials.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not allow children or pets to operate the robot. Supervise children and pets when the robot is in use.
• Do not lift or move the robot while it is cleaning, as this may interfere with its mapping capabilities.
• Use only the original power adapter and charging base provided with the device.
• Regularly inspect the robot for any damage. Do not operate if damaged.
• Empty the dustbin and water tank regularly to maintain optimal performance.

Setup

1. Charging Base Placement

Place the charging base against a wall on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is at least 2 feet (0.6 meters) of clear space on both sides of the base and 5 feet (1.5 meters) in front of it to allow the robot to dock properly.

Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a wall outlet.

2. Remove Protective Materials

Carefully remove any protective films from the robot's surface and the two bumper guards located on the sides.

3. Attach Side Brushes

Turn the robot upside down. Snap the two included side brushes onto the square pegs on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.

4. Initial Charging

Place the robot on the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the base. The robot will begin charging. Allow it to fully charge before its first use.

5. App Download and Setup

1. Download the "iHome Clean" app from your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the iHome Clean app and create an account or log in if you already have one.
4. Select "Add Device" within the app.
5. On the robot, press and hold the Home button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator light flashes.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process.

The iHome Clean app provides control and monitoring features for your robot vacuum.

6. Prepare Your Home for Cleaning

Before starting a cleaning cycle, remove any large obstacles, loose cables, or small items from the floor that could entangle the robot or obstruct its path.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting a Cleaning Cycle

To start cleaning, you can either:

• Press the Power button on the top of your AutoVac Eclipse robot.
• Select the "Auto Clean" option within the iHome Clean app.

The robot will begin navigating and cleaning your floor plan using its HomeMap Navigation system.

The robot intelligently navigates your home, creating a detailed floor plan for efficient cleaning.

2. Suction Power Modes

You can adjust the suction power of the robot via the iHome Clean app to suit different cleaning needs:

• Eco Mode: For light cleaning and extended battery life.
• Normal Mode: Standard cleaning for everyday dirt.
• HyperDrive: Maximum suction power for stubborn dirt and pet hair.

HyperDrive Technology provides powerful suction for thorough cleaning, especially on carpets.

3. Floor Detection and Carpet Boost

The AutoVac Eclipse features automatic floor detection. When it detects carpet, it will automatically increase its suction power by 20% to ensure deeper cleaning.

4. Mopping Function

To use the mopping feature (if your model includes the water tank and mop pad):

1. Attach the mop pad to the water tank.
2. Open the water tank cap and fill it with clean water to the desired amount. Close the cap securely.
3. Insert the filled water tank with the attached mop pad into the designated slot on the robot.
4. To start mopping, press the Power button on the robot or select the "Power Mop" option in the iHome Clean app.
5. You can control the water volume (Low, Medium, High) via the app to adjust the dampness of the mop pad.

The PowerMop feature allows for wet cleaning of hard floors.

5. Automatic Recharging

When the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery level is low, the robot will automatically return to its charging base to recharge. Do not manually move the robot during a cleaning cycle, as this can disrupt its mapping and navigation.

6. Anti-Drop Sensing

The robot is equipped with anti-drop sensors to prevent it from falling down stairs or off ledges. However, it is always recommended to use the boundary strip in areas with significant drops or to supervise the robot in such environments.

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Dustbin

Regularly empty the dustbin to maintain optimal suction and cleaning performance. To empty:

1. Turn the robot over.
2. Locate and remove the dustbin from the robot.
3. Open the dustbin and dispose of the collected debris.
4. Clean the HEPA filter and dustbin with the provided cleaning tool or a soft brush.
5. Reinsert the dustbin securely into the robot.

The 3-stage cleaning system efficiently captures dirt and debris into the dustbin.

2. Water Tank and Mop Pad Maintenance

After each mopping cycle:

• Remove the water tank from the robot.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Remove the mop pad and wash it thoroughly. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.
• Clean the water tank to prevent mold or mildew buildup.

3. Cleaning Sensors and Brushes

Periodically clean the robot's sensors, charging contacts, and brushes to ensure proper function. Use a soft, dry cloth for sensors and charging contacts. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair and debris from the main brush and side brushes.
