1. Important Safety Information

2.2 Controls and Ports

Familiarize yourself with the various controls and connection ports on your device.

  • Power ON/OFF Switch: Located on the side, used to turn the device on or off.
  • Disc Tray: Located under the screen, for inserting DVDs and CDs.

    • PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses playback.
    • STOP: Stops playback.
    • PREV/NEXT: Skips to the previous or next track/chapter.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the player.
  2. Plug the AC power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge.
  4. For car use, connect the supplied car charger to the DC IN port and plug it into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.

Note: The player can be used while charging. A fully charged battery provides up to 5 hours of playback time.

3.2 Inserting a DVD/CD

  1. Gently open the screen of the player.
  2. Locate the disc tray. Press the "OPEN" button or slide the latch to open the disc compartment.
  3. Place the DVD or CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up. Ensure the disc is securely seated.
  4. Close the disc compartment firmly until it clicks into place.

3.3 Using USB/SD Card Media

  1. Locate the USB port or SD card slot on the side of the player.
  2. Insert your USB flash drive or SD card into the corresponding slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly.
  3. The player will typically detect the media automatically and display a menu for file selection. If not, use the "SOURCE" or "MODE" button (if available) to switch to USB or SD mode.

Note: The player supports JPEG and MP3 media files from USB and SD cards.

3.4 Connecting Headphones

Plug the 3.5mm jack of your earphones into the headphone port on the side of the player. The internal speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

3.5 Connecting to an External Display (AV-OUT)

To view content on a larger screen:

  1. Connect one end of the supplied AV cable to the AV-OUT port on the player.
  2. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the corresponding AV-IN ports (Yellow for Video, White for Left Audio, Red for Right Audio) on your television or monitor.
  3. Select the correct AV input source on your television.

3.6 Connecting an External Audio/Video Source (AV-IN)

To use the player's screen as a monitor for an external device:

  1. Connect one end of the supplied AV cable to the AV-IN port on the player.
  2. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the AV-OUT ports of your external device (e.g., game console, camcorder).
  3. Switch the player's input mode to AV-IN using the appropriate button (if available) or through the system menu.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on the player, slide the Power ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The screen will illuminate.
  • To turn off the player, slide the Power ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.

4.2 Basic Playback (DVD/CD)

  1. Insert a DVD or CD as described in Section 3.2.
  2. The player will typically begin playback automatically. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  3. Use the PREV/NEXT buttons to skip chapters/tracks.
  4. Use the REW/FF buttons for fast rewind or fast forward.
  5. Press STOP to end playback.
  6. Press MENU/SETUP to access the disc's main menu or the player's system settings. Use directional arrows and OK to navigate.

4.3 USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or SD card as described in Section 3.3.
  2. The player should display a file browser. Navigate to your desired JPEG images or MP3 audio files using the directional arrows and press OK to select.
  3. For MP3s, playback will begin. For JPEGs, a slideshow may start or you can view them individually.

4.4 Screen Swivel Function

The 10-inch LCD screen can swivel up to 180 degrees, allowing for various viewing angles. Gently rotate the screen to your desired position. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the hinge mechanism.

4.5 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume buttons or dial on the player, or via the remote control.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Device

  • Ensure the player is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
  • For the LCD screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics screens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Never spray cleaning liquids directly onto the device.

5.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • If storing the device for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the player and a working power outlet.
    • Check if the battery is charged. If not, charge the device for at least 30 minutes.
    • Verify the Power ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.
  • Disc Not Playing / "No Disc" Error:
    • Ensure the disc is inserted correctly with the label side facing up.

  • Picture is Distorted or Flickering:
