2. Important Safety Instructions

Always observe the following safety instructions to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.

  • Do not use the heated throw if it is wet or damp.
  • Do not insert pins or other sharp objects into the heated throw.
  • Do not use if folded or bunched up, as this can cause overheating.
  • The heated throw is equipped with the Beurer Safety System (BSS) which automatically switches off the device in case of a fault.
  • Automatic shut-off occurs after approximately 3 hours of continuous operation.
  • Ensure the control unit is not covered or placed under the throw during use.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
  • Keep children away from the appliance.

3. Setup

  1. Unpack the heated throw and check for any signs of damage.
  2. Lay the heated throw flat on a bed, sofa, or other suitable surface.
  3. Connect the control unit to the heated throw by inserting the plug firmly into the socket on the throw.
  4. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

The Beurer HD 75 Nordic Heated Throw features 6 temperature settings for personalized comfort.

  1. Turning On: Slide the switch on the control unit from '0' to your desired temperature setting (1-6). The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Temperature Settings:
    • Setting 1: Minimum warmth
    • Settings 2-5: Moderate warmth
    • Setting 6: Maximum warmth
  3. Pre-heating: For faster heating, select setting 6 initially, then reduce to your preferred comfort level after 10-15 minutes.
  4. Automatic Shut-off: The heated throw will automatically switch off after approximately 3 hours. To reactivate, slide the switch to '0' and then back to your desired setting.
  5. Turning Off: Slide the switch on the control unit to '0'. The indicator light will turn off. Unplug the heated throw from the mains socket when not in use.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the heated throw from the mains and disconnect the control unit from the throw.
  • Machine Washing: The heated throw is machine washable at 30°C (86°F) on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent.
  • Hand Washing: If preferred, the throw can be hand washed in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
  • Drying: Do not wring or tumble dry. Gently reshape the throw and lay it flat or hang it over a line to air dry completely. Ensure it is fully dry before reconnecting the control unit and storing or using.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the heated throw in a clean, dry place, preferably in its original packaging. Do not place heavy objects on top of it.

6. Troubleshooting
