2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The JOCCA Shaving Set operates on 2 x AA 1.5V batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the main trimmer unit.
  2. Slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

4.2. Attaching Guide Combs

The set includes four guide combs for different trimming lengths. To attach a guide comb:

  1. Ensure the trimmer is turned off.
  2. Select the desired guide comb based on the length indicated on the comb.
  3. Align the comb with the trimmer blade and slide it firmly onto the blade until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, gently push the comb upwards and off the blade.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Main Trimmer Operation

The main trimmer is ideal for shaping and trimming beards, moustaches, sideburns, and necklines.

  1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed.
  2. Attach the desired guide comb for your preferred hair length. For a closer trim, use without a guide comb.
  3. Press the power button to turn the trimmer on.
  4. Hold the trimmer with the blade flat against the skin and move it slowly against the direction of hair growth.
  5. For precise lines and edges, remove the guide comb and use the trimmer blade directly.
  6. After use, press the power button to turn the trimmer off.

5.2. Nose and Ear Trimmer Operation

The nose and ear trimmer attachment provides a quick, powerful, and painless way to remove unwanted hair.

  1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed in the main trimmer unit.
  2. Attach the nose and ear trimmer head to the main unit.
  3. Turn the trimmer on.
  4. Gently insert the trimmer tip into the nostril or ear canal. Do not insert too deeply.
  5. Move the trimmer in a circular motion to cut hairs. The 360° cutting system ensures efficient trimming without pulling or nicks.
  6. After use, turn the trimmer off.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your JOCCA Shaving Set.

6.1. Cleaning the Trimmer

  1. Turn off the trimmer and remove any guide combs.
  2. Use the small cleaning brush provided to brush away loose hairs from the blades and the trimmer body.
  3. For the nose and ear trimmer, gently brush the cutting head to remove hairs.
  4. Do not rinse the trimmer under water unless explicitly stated as waterproof (this model is not). Use a dry cloth to wipe the body.

6.2. Lubricating the Blades

To maintain the sharpness and smooth operation of the blades, apply a small amount of lubricating oil regularly.

  1. After cleaning, apply 1-2 drops of the provided lubricating oil onto the blades of the main trimmer.
  2. Turn the trimmer on for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly.
  3. Wipe off any excess oil with a soft, dry cloth.

7. Troubleshooting
