Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your BWE kitchen faucet. It is recommended to watch the official installation video for visual guidance.

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Open the package and carefully check all components against the package contents list to ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
  2. Prepare the Countertop: Insert the faucet through the pre-drilled hole in your countertop. If installing on a 3-hole sink, place the deck plate first.
  3. Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, put the steel washer and rubber gasket onto the faucet shank in sequence.
  4. Tighten Mounting Nut: Thread the cross nut upward onto the faucet shank. Screw the black nut in a counter-clockwise direction until it is tight and the faucet is secure against the countertop. Ensure there is no gap between the faucet base and the countertop.
  5. Install the Weight: Take the weight out of its packaging. Press down the "open" side of the weight and clasp it to the designated label place on the pull-out hose, typically marked "WeightHere."
  6. Connect Water Lines: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to your angle stops. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  7. Test for Leaks: Once installation is complete, turn on the water supply and check all connections for any leaks.
