Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Marantz CD6007 Single Disc CD Player. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the unit and retain it for future reference. The Marantz CD6007 is designed to deliver high-fidelity audio playback from compact discs and USB storage devices.
Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the CD player and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing materials are present. Keep the original packaging for potential future transport or service.
2. Placement
Place the CD player on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive vibration. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Avoid placing it near other electronic devices that may cause interference.
3. Connections
Before making any connections, ensure the CD player and all connected audio components are powered off and unplugged from the AC outlet.

Figure 1: Rear Panel Connections. This image displays the rear panel of the Marantz CD6007, highlighting the analog audio output (RCA L/R), digital audio outputs (coaxial and optical), remote control input/output, and the AC power inlet. Proper connection of these ports is crucial for audio playback and system integration.
- Analog Audio Output (AUDIO OUT): Connect the RCA L/R audio output jacks of the CD player to the corresponding analog input jacks on your amplifier or receiver using high-quality RCA cables.
- Digital Audio Output (DIGITAL AUDIO OUT): For digital audio connections, use either the COAXIAL or OPTICAL output. Connect one of these to a digital audio input on your amplifier, receiver, or external DAC. Do not connect both simultaneously.
- Remote Control (FLASHER / REMOTE CONTROL): If integrating with other Marantz components or a custom installation system, connect the remote control cables as instructed in your system's manual.
- Power Connection (AC IN): After all other connections are made, connect the supplied power cord to the AC IN terminal on the rear panel and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
