- Wash Before First Use: Wash the tumbler body by hand with warm water and mild dish soap. The lid can be disassembled and washed on the top rack of a dishwasher or by hand. Rinse thoroughly.
- Pre-condition (Optional): For maximum thermal efficiency, pre-condition your tumbler before use. For hot beverages, fill with hot tap water for 5-10 minutes, then empty. For cold beverages, fill with ice water for 5-10 minutes, then empty.

- Drinking: To drink, rotate the DrinkLock™ mechanism to the open position. After drinking, rotate it back to the closed position to maintain temperature and prevent spills.
