Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or the display becomes dim. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA 1.17V batteries. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

- Replace old batteries with new ones.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
- Confirm the remote is pointed directly at the air conditioner.
- Display issues:
- If the display is dim or blank, replace the batteries.
- If the display shows incorrect information, try pressing the RESET button (usually a small recessed button requiring a pointed object like a pen tip).
