1. Introduction

The TENS 3002 PLUS is an advanced electrostimulator designed for both pain relief (TENS) and muscle stimulation (EMS). This device offers a non-pharmacological approach to managing various types of pain and enhancing muscle performance. It features 5 pre-set TENS programs for analgesia, 5 pre-set EMS programs for muscle stimulation, and 4 user-configurable programs, allowing for personalized treatment.

Common applications include relief from neck pain, lower back pain, backache, hip pain, sciatica, knee pain, shoulder pain, epicondylitis, migraine, and arthritis. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure safe and effective operation.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Slide open the battery cover.
  3. Insert two AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

5.2 Connecting Electrodes

  1. Ensure the device is turned off before connecting electrodes.
  2. Connect the electrode cables to the output ports on the top of the device.
  3. Attach the self-adhesive electrodes to the ends of the electrode cables.
  4. Peel off the protective film from the electrodes and apply them to clean, dry skin in the desired treatment area. Ensure good contact with the skin.

6. Operating Instructions

The TENS 3002 PLUS offers a variety of programs:

  1. After turning on the device, press the Prog button to cycle through the available programs.
  2. The program number will be displayed on the LCD screen.
  3. Use the Menu buttons to adjust specific parameters within user-configurable programs if desired.

6.3 Adjusting Intensity

The device has two independent channels (Level 1 and Level 2) for intensity adjustment.

  1. Once a program is selected and electrodes are applied, press the + button for Level 1 or Level 2 to gradually increase the intensity.
  2. Press the - button for Level 1 or Level 2 to decrease the intensity.
  3. Adjust the intensity to a comfortable level where you feel a strong but non-painful muscle contraction or tingling sensation.
  4. Do not increase intensity to a painful level.
