Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Two people are recommended for easier assembly.
Step 1: Attach Headboard to Side Rails
Align the side rails with the headboard posts. Secure them using the provided bolts and washers. Do not fully tighten yet.

Step 2: Attach Footboard to Side Rails
Connect the other end of the side rails to the footboard. Secure with bolts and washers. Now, fully tighten all bolts connecting the headboard, side rails, and footboard.

Step 3: Install Center Support Beam and Legs
Place the center support beam along the middle of the bed frame. Attach the support legs to the center beam and adjust their height so they firmly touch the floor.

Step 4: Place Wood Slats
Evenly space the wood slats across the side rails. Some slats may have pre-drilled holes for optional attachment to the side rails. Ensure all slats are securely in place to provide proper mattress support.

Step 5: Adjust Headboard Height (Optional)
The headboard offers multiple height positions for a custom fit. Adjust the headboard to your desired height by repositioning the attachment bolts. Ensure both sides are at the same height and securely fastened.

Operating Instructions
Once assembled, your Modway Willow Queen Wood Platform Bed is ready for use.
- Place your Queen-sized mattress directly onto the wood slats. A box spring is not required.
- Ensure the mattress is centered on the bed frame.
- The bed is designed to support various mattress types including memory foam, latex, innerspring, and hybrid mattresses.
Maintenance and Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your platform bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a dry cloth. For the upholstered headboard, spot clean with a mild fabric cleaner if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Tightening: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
- Placement: Avoid placing the bed in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent wood warping or fading of upholstery.
- Moving: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the legs and frame.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common solutions:
- Squeaking Noises:
- Check all bolts and screws and tighten them securely.
- Ensure the center support legs are firmly touching the floor.
- Verify that all wood slats are properly seated and not rubbing against each other or the frame.
- Instability/Wobbling:
- Confirm all connections are tight.
- Ensure the bed is on a level surface. Adjust leg levelers if present, or place shims under legs if needed.
- Damaged or Missing Parts:
- Do not attempt to use the product with damaged or missing parts. Contact Modway customer support for replacements.

This Modway product comes with a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
