3. Setup

3.1 Inserting the Battery and SIM Cards

  1. Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
  2. Insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slots. The Nokia 125 supports dual SIM functionality.
  3. Align the battery (BL-5C 1020mAh) with the contacts and gently press it into place.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely.

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Call Cancel button (red button) until the Nokia logo appears on the screen.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Call Cancel button. A menu will appear; select "Switch off" or simply continue holding the button until the phone powers down.

3.3 Initial Setup (Language, Time, Date)

Upon first power-on, you will be prompted to select your preferred language. Use the navigation keys to select and confirm. You can also set the correct time and date through the settings menu.

The Nokia 125 includes a built-in flashlight. To activate or deactivate it, navigate to the flashlight option in the menu and select 'On' or 'Off'.
