2. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble the servo with the provided U-shaped brackets and arm plates. Ensure all screws are securely fastened.
- Attach the Arm Plates: Secure the circular arm plates to the servo's output shafts using the small screws.
- Mount the Servo to Brackets: Position the servo within the U-shaped brackets. Align the mounting holes on the servo with those on the brackets.
- Secure Brackets: Use the appropriate screws to firmly attach the servo to both the long and short U-shaped brackets.

3. Operating Instructions
The RDS3235 digital servo is controlled via Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signals. The rotation angle is determined by the pulse width provided to the signal wire.
- Standard Control Angle (135°): When the pulse width is between 1000-2000 microseconds, the servo operates within a 135-degree rotation angle.
- Extended Control Angle (270°): For a wider 270-degree rotation, the pulse width should be set between 500-2500 microseconds.
Connect the servo's signal wire (white) to your controller's PWM output, the red wire to the positive power supply (DC5-7.4V), and the black wire to ground.

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your RDS3235 servo, consider the following maintenance guidelines:
- Keep Clean: Regularly clean the exterior of the servo to prevent dust and debris from entering the housing.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the specified torque limits to prevent damage to the gears and motor.
- Check Connections: Periodically inspect all wiring connections for secure fit and signs of wear.
- Storage: Store the servo in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RDS3235 servo, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Servo Not Responding:
- Check power supply: Ensure the servo is receiving adequate voltage (DC5-7.4V) and current.
- Verify connections: Confirm that the signal, power, and ground wires are correctly connected to the controller and power source.
- Test with another controller: If possible, try the servo with a different, known-working controller to rule out controller issues.
- Erratic Movement or Jitter:
- Power supply instability: Ensure the power supply is stable and can provide sufficient current under load.
- Signal interference: Check for potential electromagnetic interference from other components.
- Damaged gears: Inspect the gears for any visible damage or wear.
- Limited Rotation Angle:
- Check pulse width settings: Ensure your controller is configured to output the correct pulse width range (e.g., 500-2500 microseconds for 270°).
- Mechanical obstruction: Verify there are no physical obstructions limiting the servo's movement.
