Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, connect the tablet to the provided 12V power adapter. The charging port is located on the tablet. Ensure the tablet is fully charged for optimal battery calibration.

2. Attaching the Detachable Keyboard

Align the tablet with the magnetic connector on the keyboard folio. The tablet will securely snap into place, establishing the connection between the tablet and the keyboard. The folio also features a stand to support the tablet in a laptop configuration.

3. Powering On

Press and hold the power button located on the tablet's side until the Avita logo appears on the screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial Windows 10 setup.

4. Windows 10 S Mode

Your Avita Magus II comes with Windows 10 Home in S mode, which enhances security and performance by exclusively using apps from the Microsoft Store. If you need to install applications from outside the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S mode. This is a one-way process for most users. To switch, go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and follow the instructions to switch to full Windows 10 Home.

Operating the Device

1. Touchscreen Operation

The 10.1-inch HD display supports multi-touch gestures. Use your fingers to navigate, tap, swipe, and pinch-to-zoom. When the keyboard is detached, an on-screen keyboard will automatically appear for text input.
