Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Position the lamp on a stable desk or table. Ensure adequate space for the flexible neck adjustment.
- Power Connection: Insert the power adapter cable into the power port on the back of the lamp base. Plug the adapter into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
- Clock Battery: The CR2 battery for the clock is pre-installed. If the clock display is not active, check the battery compartment on the underside of the base to ensure the battery is properly seated.

Operation
Light Functions
- Power On/Off: Touch the power button on the lamp base to turn the light on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: With the light on, repeatedly touch the brightness control button to cycle through three brightness levels.
- Light Modes: The lamp offers three distinct light modes:
- ClearSun Only: Provides OttLite's natural daylight illumination, optimized for visual clarity and reduced eyestrain.
- ClearSun + SpectraClean: Combines ClearSun illumination with SpectraClean sanitizing technology for continuous surface disinfection while providing optimal lighting.
- SpectraClean Only: Activates only the sanitizing light, suitable for continuous disinfection when ambient light is not required.
- Flexible Neck: Adjust the lamp head by gently bending the flexible neck to direct light as needed. The height adjusts from 10 to 18.75 inches.
USB Charging Port
The lamp includes a 5V, 2.1A USB charging port located on the side of the base. Connect your mobile phone, tablet, or other USB-powered devices to this port for charging.
Digital Clock and Alarm
The integrated smart digital display shows the date, day of the week, and time. Refer to the detailed instructions below for setting these features:
- Setting Time/Date: Press and hold the 'SET' button on the lamp base. The hour display will flash. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour. Press 'SET' again to move to minutes, then year, month, and day, adjusting each with '+' and '-'. Press 'SET' one last time to confirm.
- Setting Alarm: Press the 'ALARM' button. The alarm time will flash. Use '+' and '-' to set the alarm hour and minute. Press 'ALARM' again to confirm. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the 'ALARM' button once. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
- Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, touch any button (except the power button) to activate snooze. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press the power button.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the lamp with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Clock Battery Replacement: If the digital display loses power or shows incorrect time after a power outage, the CR2 battery may need replacement. Access the battery compartment on the underside of the base, replace the old battery with a new CR2 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
