The EL-50448 TPMS Reset Tool is designed to assist in the re-learn procedure for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) in most GM vehicles equipped with a 315 or 433 MHz TPMS. This procedure is necessary after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement, or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement to ensure the system functions correctly.
The tool facilitates the reading of tire pressure sensor information, allowing the Body Control Module to record the ID information of each sensor position. It is a compact and portable device, universal for most cars, and features a diagnostic sensing function.

3. Operating Instructions
To perform the tire pressure sensor re-learn procedure, follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Enter Learning Mode
Set the vehicle's gearshift lever to "P" (Park).
Put the ignition switch to "ON" (Engine Off, Ignition On).
Navigate to the tire pressure display interface using the Driver Information Center (DIC).
The DIC should display "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn".
Press the "Set / Ctrl" button on your vehicle's controls.
The vehicle's turn signal will light for 3 seconds, and the horn will beep twice, indicating that the vehicle has entered the learning mode.
Step 2: Read Tire Pressure Sensor Information (Front-Left Wheel)
Begin the re-learn process starting with the front-left wheel.
Hold the EL-50448 tool's antenna up against the valve core position of the front-left tire. Ensure it is close to the rim of the tire sidewall.
Press the activation button on the EL-50448 tool to start the reading process.
A single horn beep from the vehicle indicates that the tire pressure sensor information has been successfully read.

Step 3: Read Other Tire Pressure Information
Continue the process for the remaining tires in the following order:
Front-Right wheel
Rear-Right wheel
Rear-Left wheel
Use the same method as described in Step 2 for each wheel. After the last wheel's sensor information is successfully read, the vehicle's turn signals will light for 3 seconds, and the horn will beep twice, indicating that the learning procedure is complete.
