2. Compatibility

The CHOOCL A2-Audi2G Bluetooth adapter is specifically designed for:

• 2006-2009 Audi MMI 2G systems (Audi Music Interface).

Important Compatibility Notes:

• This adapter is NOT compatible with Volkswagen or Audi MMI 3G systems.
• Some 2008-2009 Audi A4 models are equipped with 3G systems. For these vehicles, please use the CHOOCL 3000A model.
• If you are unsure about your car's MMI system version, please consult your vehicle's manual or contact customer support for assistance.

4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to install and pair your CHOOCL Bluetooth adapter:

1. Locate the AMI Port: In most Audi MMI 2G systems, the AMI (Audi Music Interface) port is located in the glove compartment or center console.
2. Connect the Adapter: Plug the CHOOCL Bluetooth adapter firmly into the AMI port. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Power On Your Car's MMI System: Turn on your vehicle's ignition and MMI system.
4. Access Media Source: Navigate to the 'Media' or 'Source' menu on your MMI display. Select the AMI input.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Streaming

Once paired, your smartphone's audio will be streamed wirelessly to your car's speakers. You can use any music or audio app on your phone.

5.2 Control with Steering Wheel and Car Multimedia Buttons

The adapter supports control via your car's native controls:

• Use the steering wheel buttons to skip tracks (next/previous).
• Adjust volume using your car's volume controls.
• Utilize the car's multimedia interface buttons for track navigation.

5.3 Track Information Display

• For iPhone Users: The car screen can display playlists from iPhone apps, as well as artist and title information for streaming services.
• For Android Users: The car screen will display the currently playing song information (artist/title), but not the full playlist.

5.4 Call Handling

Note: This adapter supports music-only streaming and does not provide call support.

For phone calls, ensure your smartphone is simultaneously connected to your car's original Bluetooth system (if available) for hands-free calling functionality.

7. Automatic Reconnection

The adapter is designed for convenience. Every time you enter your vehicle, it will actively attempt to connect to your mobile phone's Bluetooth. If your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and it was the last connected device, it will automatically re-establish the connection.

Note: If there are other mobile phones previously connected, you may need to manually select the adapter from your phone's Bluetooth settings for the current session.
