1. Introduction

The PIHEN Ticktime Pomodoro Timer is a versatile time management tool designed to enhance focus and productivity. Utilizing a unique flip-to-start mechanism, it offers preset countdowns, custom timing options, and a stopwatch function. This manual provides detailed instructions for operating and maintaining your timer.

2. Setup

2.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, charge the timer for 12 hours. Subsequent charges require approximately 4 hours. Do not use the timer while it is charging. Once charging is complete, unplug the USB-C cable and press any button to activate the timer.

2.2. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press any button on the timer.
• Power Off: Place the timer with its display facing upwards and long-press both the 'M+' and 'S+' buttons simultaneously. The timer will also automatically turn off after a period of inactivity when placed display-side up.

3. Operating Modes

3.1. Preset Countdown Timers

The timer features a built-in gyroscope for quick activation of preset intervals. Simply flip the timer so that the desired time (3, 5, 10, 15, 25, or 30 minutes) is facing upwards. The countdown will begin automatically.

3.2. Custom Countdown Timer (1s-99m59s)

For custom durations, place the timer with its display facing upwards. Use the 'M+' and 'S+' buttons to adjust the minutes and seconds. Once the desired time is set, flip the timer to any numbered side to begin the countdown.

3.3. Stopwatch Mode (Count Up)

To use the stopwatch function, place the timer with its display facing downwards. The timer will begin counting upwards from 00:00. To stop the count, place the timer with its display facing upwards.

4. Reminder Modes

The timer offers three reminder modes: sound, vibration, and silent flash alerts. Use the 'V+' and 'V-' buttons to cycle through these options to suit your environment (e.g., office, library, kitchen).

5. Additional Features

• Pause & Resume: During a countdown, simply set the timer with its display facing upwards to pause. To resume, flip it back to the numbered side.
• Magnetic Back: The timer features a strong magnetic back, allowing it to be securely attached to metal surfaces such as whiteboards, refrigerators, or metal desks for convenient, hands-free placement.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Exposure: Do not expose the timer to water or excessive moisture. It is not waterproof.
• Storage: Store the timer in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

• Timer Not Responding: Ensure the timer is fully charged. If the issue persists, try turning it off and on again.
• Display Issues: If the display is dim or flickering, recharge the device.
• Alarm Not Sounding/Vibrating: Check the reminder mode settings using the 'V+' and 'V-' buttons to ensure it's not set to silent.
