DANGER:

Always read and follow all cautions and instructions on the product label before use. Use in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and gloves.

Setup and Preparation

  1. Read Instructions: Carefully read all instructions and safety warnings on the product label and in this manual before use.
  2. Ventilation: Ensure the work area is well-ventilated. If working indoors, open windows and doors or use exhaust fans.
  3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear safety glasses or goggles to protect eyes from splashes and vapors. Wear chemical-resistant gloves to protect skin.
  4. Surface Preparation: For best results, clean the area around the rusted or frozen part of any loose dirt or debris.
  5. Shake Can: Shake the can thoroughly for several seconds before each use to ensure proper mixing of the contents.
  6. Attach ProStraw: Insert the ProStraw into the nozzle for precise application, or use the wide spray pattern directly from the nozzle for broader coverage.

Operating Instructions

  1. Target Application: Direct the spray nozzle or ProStraw directly onto the rusted or frozen component.
  2. Apply Liberally: Apply a generous amount of B'laster Penetrating Catalyst to the affected area, ensuring it saturates the rust and penetrates into threads or joints.
  3. Allow Penetration: Allow the product to penetrate for several minutes. For heavily rusted parts, allow more time, such as 15-30 minutes, or even overnight for extreme cases. The unique capillary action helps the product seep into tight spaces.
  4. Reapply if Necessary: For stubborn parts, reapply the product and allow additional penetration time.
  5. Attempt to Loosen: After sufficient penetration time, attempt to loosen the part using appropriate tools. Apply steady, increasing pressure.
  6. Clean Up: Wipe away any excess product with a clean cloth.
