The SEREONIC TV Speaker system consists of a portable wireless speaker and a transmitting base. The base connects to your TV and wirelessly sends audio to the speaker.

Speaker Controls and Indicators:

  • Volume Dial: Located on the front, used to adjust the speaker's volume.
  • Power/Charging LED: Indicates power status and charging status (Low Battery/Charging).
  • Headphone Jack: For private listening with wired headphones (not included).

Transmitting Base Indicators:

  • Power LED: Indicates the base is powered on.

Setup

Follow these steps to connect your SEREONIC TV Speaker to your television.

Step 1: Connect the Transmitting Base to Power

  1. Connect the power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the back of the transmitting base.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The 'POWER' LED on the base will illuminate.

Step 2: Connect the Transmitting Base to your TV

The SEREONIC TV Speaker supports multiple audio input options. Choose the best option for your TV:

Option A: Optical Digital Audio (Recommended for Smart TVs)

  1. Connect one end of the optical cable to the 'OPTICAL OUT' port on your TV.
  2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the 'OPTICAL IN' port on the transmitting base.
  3. Important: Access your TV's audio settings and set the 'Digital Audio Output' format to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) or Stereo. Avoid Dolby Digital or DTS formats, as they are not supported by this speaker.

Option B: 3.5mm Audio Out (Headphone Jack)

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm to RCA cable (the 3.5mm plug) to the headphone jack on your TV.
  2. Connect the red and white RCA plugs to the corresponding 'AUDIO IN' ports on the transmitting base.

Option C: RCA Audio Out (Red/White Ports)

  1. Connect the red and white RCA plugs of the 3.5mm to RCA cable to the 'AUDIO OUT' ports on your TV.
  2. Connect the 3.5mm plug to the '3.5mm IN' port on the transmitting base.
  3. If your TV only has one set of RCA audio output ports that are already in use, use the included RCA splitter.

Step 3: Place the Wireless Speaker on the Base to Charge

Before first use, fully charge the portable speaker. Place the speaker onto the transmitting base, ensuring the charging contacts align. The 'LOW BAT/CHARGING' LED on the speaker will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 8 hours of continuous operation.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Volume Control

  1. To turn on the speaker, rotate the volume dial clockwise. You will hear a click, and the speaker will power on.
  2. Continue rotating the dial clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.
  3. To turn off the speaker, rotate the volume dial counter-clockwise until you hear a click.

Using the Speaker

Once connected and powered on, the speaker will automatically receive audio from the transmitting base. Place the portable speaker near you for clear, personal TV audio. The wireless range is up to 100 feet.

Private Listening

For private listening, plug any standard wired headphones or earbuds (not included) into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the side of the portable speaker. The speaker's internal sound will mute, and audio will be routed to your headphones.

Auto-Sleep Function

The speaker features an auto-sleep function to conserve battery. If no audio signal is detected for a period, the speaker will automatically enter a low-power sleep mode. It will reactivate when an audio signal is detected again.
