Setup and Installation
The Akamino Sink Faucet Hose Sprayer is designed for easy, tool-free installation on most standard sink faucets. Follow these steps:
- Prepare Your Faucet: Ensure your sink faucet is clean and free of debris. Remove any existing aerator from your faucet spout.
- Install the Faucet Diverter Valve: Screw the 2-way faucet diverter valve onto the threaded spout of your sink faucet. Hand-tighten until secure. Ensure the included washer is properly seated to prevent leaks. (Note: If your faucet has a non-standard thread, an adapter may be required, which is not included.)
- Connect the Hose: Attach one end of the stretchable recoil shower hose to the side outlet of the diverter valve. Attach the other end of the hose to the handheld shower head. Hand-tighten both connections.
- Mount the Shower Head Holder: Clean and dry the desired wall surface for the shower head holder. Remove the protective film from the adhesive backing of the holder and firmly press it onto the wall. Allow it to set for a few hours before placing the shower head in it.

Operating Instructions
- Using the Faucet: When the diverter valve lever is in the default position, water will flow from your sink faucet as usual.
- Activating the Sprayer: To divert water to the handheld shower head, flip the lever on the 2-way faucet diverter valve. Water will now flow through the hose to the sprayer.
- Adjusting Spray Modes: The handheld shower head features three distinct spray patterns:
- Light: A gentle, wide spray.
- Middle: A balanced, medium-pressure spray.
- Heavy: A strong, focused spray.
- Water Flow Control: The handheld shower head includes a stop button for temporary water flow control. Press the button to pause the water flow and release to resume.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Akamino Sink Faucet Hose Sprayer.
- Cleaning the Shower Head: Periodically clean the nozzles of the shower head to remove mineral deposits. You can gently rub the rubber nozzles or soak the shower head in a vinegar solution for a few hours, then rinse thoroughly.
- Hose Inspection: Check the hose for any kinks, cracks, or signs of wear. Replace the hose if any damage is observed to prevent leaks.
- Diverter Valve: Ensure the diverter valve operates smoothly. If it becomes stiff, a small amount of food-grade silicone grease can be applied to the moving parts (ensure it does not come into contact with drinking water).
- General Cleaning: Wipe down all components with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water leaks from connections. | Loose connections or improperly seated washers. | Ensure all connections (diverter to faucet, hose to diverter, hose to sprayer) are hand-tightened. Check that washers are correctly in place. |
| Low water pressure from sprayer. | Clogged shower head nozzles or internal filter. | Clean the shower head nozzles. If applicable, disassemble and clean any internal filters. |
| Diverter valve lever is stiff or difficult to operate. | Mineral buildup or internal friction. | Operate the lever gently. If persistent, consider applying a small amount of food-grade silicone grease to the moving parts. |
| Water does not divert to sprayer. | Diverter valve not fully engaged. | Ensure the diverter valve lever is fully flipped to the sprayer position. |
