5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

5.2 Antenna Setup

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB/DAB+ and FM radio reception. For Internet Radio, the antenna is not required as it uses Wi-Fi.

5.3 Initial Network Configuration (Wi-Fi)

Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the initial setup process, including Wi-Fi network selection. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your home Wi-Fi network. You will need your network name (SSID) and password.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

Press the POWER button on the unit or remote control to turn the radio on or off.

6.2 Mode Selection

Use the MODE button on the unit or remote control to cycle through available modes: Internet Radio, DAB, DAB+, FM, and Bluetooth.

6.3 Tuning Stations

• Internet Radio: Navigate through menus to browse stations by location, genre, or search.
• DAB/DAB+: The radio will automatically scan for available digital stations. Use the navigation buttons to select a station.
• FM: Use the tuning controls to manually or automatically scan for FM stations.

6.4 Saving Presets

6.7 Alarm and Sleep Functions

Access the alarm settings through the menu to set up to two alarms. You can choose to wake up to a buzzer or a radio station. The sleep timer allows you to set a duration after which the radio will automatically turn off.

6.8 Equalizer Settings

Press the EQ button on the remote control or navigate through the menu to select from various equalizer presets (e.g., Flat, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classic) to optimize the sound for different audio content.
