2. Safety Information

• Electro Block Safety System: This product is equipped with an advanced Electro Block safety system that performs self-diagnosis at each power-on and continuously monitors the device during use. In case of malfunction, the system automatically shuts off the power to prevent overheating.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to properly set up your heated mattress topper:

1. Prepare the Mattress: Ensure your mattress is clean and dry.
2. Position the Topper: Lay the Imetec Scaldasonno Adapto Maxi flat on top of your mattress, ensuring it covers the entire sleeping area. The side with the connector for the control unit should be positioned near the head of the bed, on the side you prefer to have the control.
3. Secure with Elastic Corners: The mattress topper features elastic bands at each corner. Stretch these bands over the corners of your mattress to secure the topper firmly in place. This prevents the topper from shifting during use.

4. Connect the Control Unit: Locate the connector on the mattress topper and the corresponding plug on the digital control unit. Align them carefully and push firmly until they click into place. Ensure a secure connection.
5. Plug into Power: Plug the power cord of the control unit into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The digital control unit allows you to easily manage the temperature and timer settings.

5.1. Turning On/Off

• To turn on the mattress topper, press the Power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) on the control unit. The LED display will illuminate.
• To turn off the mattress topper, press the Power button again. The LED display will turn off.

5.2. Selecting Temperature Levels

The mattress topper offers 6 temperature levels. The higher the number, the warmer the setting.

• Press the Temperature Selection button (indicated by a thermometer icon or up/down arrows) to cycle through the temperature levels (1 to 6). The corresponding LED number on the display will light up.
• For rapid preheating of the bed, select temperature level 6.
• For general preheating during warmer periods, temperature levels 4 or 5 may be sufficient.
• Once the desired temperature is reached, you can lower the setting for comfortable overnight use.

5.3. Setting the Automatic Shut-Off Timer

The mattress topper features an automatic shut-off timer for 1, 3, or 9 hours.

• Press the Timer button (indicated by a clock icon) to select the desired shut-off time. The corresponding LED (1h, 3h, or 9h) will illuminate.
• The mattress topper will automatically turn off after the selected time period, providing peace of mind and energy saving.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper care and cleaning will extend the life of your Imetec Scaldasonno Adapto Maxi.

6.1. Before Cleaning

• Always unplug the mattress topper from the power outlet.
• Disconnect the control unit from the mattress topper by pressing the release clips (if present) and pulling the connector apart.

The mattress topper is washable by hand or machine at 30°C.
