Keyboard Not Responding
- Ensure the keyboard's On/Off switch is in the 'On' position.
- Check if the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port if necessary.
- Replace the AAA batteries with fresh ones.
- Move the keyboard closer to the USB receiver to ensure it is within the 30-foot operating range and free from interference.
Lag or Disconnections
- Ensure there are no large metal objects or other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) between the keyboard and the USB receiver that could cause interference.
- Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port, preferably one that is not next to other USB devices.
Multimedia Keys Not Working on Mac/Linux
Some multimedia keys may have limited or no functionality on operating systems other than Windows 8/10. This is due to system-specific driver requirements. Basic typing functionality should remain unaffected.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, turn off the keyboard using the On/Off switch to conserve battery life. Store the keyboard in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
