Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the diymore 0.28" Volt Amp Meter. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.
The diymore Volt Amp Meter is a compact digital display unit designed for measuring DC voltage and current. It features a dual LED display, showing both voltage and current simultaneously. It is suitable for various applications, including automotive battery monitoring and general electrical measurements.

Product Features
- Dual Display: Simultaneous display of voltage and current on a 0.28" digital tube.
- Wide Measurement Range: Measures DC voltage from 0-100V and DC current from 0-10A.
- High Accuracy: 1% (± 1 digit) measurement accuracy.
- Compact Design: Small dimensions (48mm x 29mm x 26mm) for easy integration.
- Built-in Shunt: For current measurements up to 10A, no external shunt is required.
Safety Precautions
- Voltage Limit: Do not exceed 30V DC for the meter's working voltage. Exceeding this limit will damage the device.
- Current Limit: The meter is designed for currents up to 10A. Ensure the circuit current does not exceed this value.
- Polarity: Always observe correct polarity when connecting the meter to a circuit. Incorrect connections can cause damage.
- Professional Installation: If you are unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician or technician.
- Operating Environment: Use the meter within the specified operating temperature range (-10℃ to +65℃).
Setup and Installation
The diymore Volt Amp Meter requires a DC power source for its operation and separate connections for voltage and current measurement.
Wiring Diagram

- Thin Black and Red Wires: These are for the meter's power supply (DC 4.5-30V). The red wire connects to the positive (+) terminal, and the black wire connects to the negative (-) terminal of the power source.
- Thin Black and Yellow Wires: These are for voltage measurement (DC 0-100V). The yellow wire connects to the positive (+) point of the circuit being measured, and the black wire connects to the negative (-) point.
- Thick Red and Black Wires: These are for current measurement (DC 0-10A). The thick red wire connects in series with the positive (+) side of the load, and the thick black wire connects to the negative (-) side of the load, completing the circuit through the meter.
Connection Steps
- Power Supply Connection: Connect the thin red wire to the positive (+) terminal of a DC 4.5-30V power supply and the thin black wire to the negative (-) terminal. This powers the meter itself.
- Voltage Measurement Connection: Connect the thin yellow wire to the positive (+) point of the circuit or device whose voltage you wish to measure. Connect the thin black wire (common ground) to the negative (-) point of the same circuit.
- Current Measurement Connection: The thick red and black wires are for current measurement. These must be connected in series with the load.
- Disconnect the positive (+) supply line to your load.
- Connect the thick red wire from the meter to the positive (+) supply.
- Connect the thick black wire from the meter to the positive (+) terminal of your load.
- Ensure the load's negative (-) terminal is connected to the negative (-) supply.
Note: For current measurements up to 10A, the meter has a built-in shunt. Do not add an external shunt.
Physical Installation
The meter is designed for panel mounting. Ensure the cutout dimensions are appropriate for the meter's size (48mm x 29mm x 26mm). Secure the meter in place using the integrated clips or a suitable mounting bracket.

Operating Instructions
Once properly wired and powered, the diymore Volt Amp Meter will automatically display the measured voltage and current on its dual LED screen.

- The upper (blue) display indicates the voltage in Volts (V).
- The lower (green) display indicates the current in Amperes (A).
- The display refreshes approximately every 300 milliseconds.
No calibration or adjustment is typically required for standard operation. The meter is designed for direct measurement within its specified ranges.
Maintenance
The diymore Volt Amp Meter is a low-maintenance device. Follow these guidelines to ensure its longevity:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display and casing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Environmental Protection: Avoid exposing the meter to excessive moisture, dust, or extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
- Connection Integrity: Periodically check all wire connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- No User Serviceable Parts: The device contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open or repair the meter yourself, as this may void the warranty and cause further damage.
