2. Important Safety Information

4. Setup and Initial Charging
4.1 Assembly
The AEG Ergorapido CX7-2-45MÖ typically comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Insert the handle into the main body of the vacuum cleaner until it clicks securely into place.
- Ensure the dust container and filter are correctly installed.

4.2 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the vacuum cleaner for approximately 4 hours. The intelligent charging system includes a charging stop function to prevent overcharging.
- Place the charging station on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.
- Plug the charging station's adapter into a wall outlet.
- Place the vacuum cleaner onto the charging station. Ensure it is properly seated and the charging indicator light illuminates.
- Allow the vacuum to charge until the indicator light shows a full charge (refer to your specific model's light indicators for details).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off and Suction Modes
- To turn on the vacuum cleaner, press the power button located on the handle.
- Press the power button again to switch between ECO mode (standard suction, longer runtime) and Power mode (maximum suction, shorter runtime).
- To turn off the vacuum cleaner, press the power button until the unit powers down.

5.2 Using the 2-in-1 Function (Handheld Vacuum)
The integrated handheld unit provides flexibility for cleaning smaller areas, upholstery, or inside vehicles.
- To detach the handheld unit, press the release button located on the main body and pull the handheld unit upwards.
- Attach the integrated furniture brush/mini crevice nozzle (stored on the charging station) to the handheld unit for specific cleaning tasks.
- To reattach, align the handheld unit with the main body and push it down until it clicks into place.

5.3 LED Front Lights
The motor-powered electric suction brush is equipped with LED front lights. These lights illuminate the cleaning path, making dust and debris more visible, especially in dimly lit areas or under furniture.

5.4 Free-standing Parking Function
The vacuum cleaner can stand upright on its own, allowing for convenient temporary storage during cleaning breaks. Simply push the vacuum into an upright position, and it will remain standing.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
6.1 Emptying the Dust Container
Empty the dust container regularly, preferably after each use, or when the MAX fill line is reached.
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
- Detach the handheld unit.
- Locate the dust container release button and press it to remove the dust container.
- Open the dust container and empty its contents into a waste bin.
- Reattach the dust container and handheld unit securely.
6.2 Cleaning the Filter
The filter should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power. It is recommended to clean the filter every 5-10 uses, or as needed.
- Remove the dust container as described above.
- Carefully remove the filter from the dust container.
- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to dislodge dust and debris. For a more thorough clean, rinse the filter under lukewarm running water.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
- Reinsert the dry filter into the dust container and reattach the dust container.
6.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll (Brushroll-Clean Function)
The AEG Ergorapido CX7-2-45MÖ features a patented brushroll-clean function to easily remove tangled hair and fibers from the brush roll.
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned on and in an upright position.
- Place the foot on the brushroll-clean pedal (usually located on the floor nozzle).
- Press and hold the pedal for approximately 5 seconds. The brush roll will automatically clean itself.
- Release the pedal. The brush roll is now clean.
For manual cleaning or if the brushroll-clean function is insufficient:
- Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
- Locate the brush roll access cover on the bottom of the floor nozzle.
- Open the cover and carefully remove the brush roll.
- Remove any tangled hair or debris using scissors or your hands.
- Reinsert the brush roll and close the cover securely.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your vacuum cleaner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
