Setup

1. Setting Time and Date

  1. Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch) to the first click position to adjust the date, or to the second click position to adjust the time.
  2. Adjust the date: In the first click position, rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the correct date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  3. Adjust the time: In the second click position, rotate the crown to set the correct time. Ensure you set the AM/PM correctly for the date to change at midnight.
  4. Push in the crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch movement.

2. Adjusting the Watch Strap

The OLEVS K-GX-L5563 comes with a double safety folding buckle and can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. A free adjustment tool is provided with your watch. If you are unsure, it is recommended to have a professional jeweler adjust the strap to prevent damage.

  • Identify the removable links on the bracelet.
  • Use the provided tool to push out the pins holding the links together.
  • Remove the necessary number of links to achieve the desired fit.
  • Reassemble the links and pins securely.

Operating Your Watch

Reading Time and Date

Your OLEVS watch features a classic analog dial with clear hour, minute, and second hands. The day and date window is located on the dial for easy readability. The luminous hands and markers (if applicable to your specific model) provide visibility in low-light conditions.

Water Resistance

This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM/3 BAR). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, such as hand washing or rain. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports. Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged in water.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your OLEVS watch, wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel bracelets, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish or seals.

Battery Replacement

Your watch is powered by a Japanese Quartz movement with a battery life of approximately 2-3 years. When the battery runs low, the watch may stop or the second hand may skip. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker to ensure the water resistance seal is properly maintained.

Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original gift box can be used for safe storage.
