2. Important Network Compatibility Notice

ATTENTION: This is a 3G phone. As of January 19, 2021, AT&T no longer activates new SIM cards with phones that do not support 4G HD Voice, as 3G networks are scheduled to shut down by February 2022. While 3G unlocked basic phones may still work with already activated AT&T prepaid SIM cards before February 2022, it is crucial to understand the implications.

If you are activating a new SIM card: Most carriers have stopped activating new SIM cards for 3G devices. You may need to provide the IMEI number of an older, more well-known 4G-compatible phone to activate a new SIM card. Once activated, you can then insert the SIM card into your Uleway W180 phone. The phone will automatically pick up the carrier's network after turning on.

This phone is NOT compatible with any contract SIM cards or CDMA networks such as Verizon, Sprint, Boost, PagePlus, or MetroPCS. It is primarily compatible with 3G carriers like AT&T or any other carrier that uses the AT&T network (select prepaid SIM cards).
