5. Setup

5.1 Initial Placement

Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for optimal mist dispersion.

5.2 Filling the Water Tank

The Lacidoll humidifier features a convenient top-fill design. You can fill the water tank directly from the top without needing to remove the entire lid.

  1. Ensure the humidifier is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Carefully pour clean, cool tap water directly into the top opening of the humidifier. Do not exceed the 'MAX' water level indicator.
  3. For best results and to prevent mineral buildup, use distilled or demineralized water.

5.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

The humidifier can be operated using the touch control panel on the front or the included remote control.

  1. Press the Humidity button (Humidity icon) to enter humidity setting mode.

  3. The humidifier will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set humidity.

Set a timer for the humidifier to automatically turn off after a specified period.

Add a few drops of essential oil to the dedicated tray for aromatherapy benefits.

  1. Locate the essential oil tray on the side/back of the humidifier.
  2. Pull out the tray and add 5-10 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad.
  3. Slide the tray back into place. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

  1. Unplug the humidifier and empty any remaining water.
  2. Pour 1 cup (240ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank and onto the nebulizer/transducer.
  3. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Use the provided cleaning brush to gently clean the nebulizer/transducer and other areas with mineral buildup.
  5. Rinse the water tank and base thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  6. Dry all parts completely before reassembling.

    • Remove the essential oil tray and clean the aroma pad with a mild detergent and water.
