Assembly Video Guide
This video demonstrates the assembly process, including attaching the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals, as well as showcasing key features like the display and gears.
Step-by-Step Assembly
- Install the Front Wheel: Carefully align the front wheel with the fork. Ensure the disc brake rotor slides correctly into the brake caliper. Secure the wheel using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts provided.

- Attach the Handlebar: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork's steerer tube. Adjust the height and angle for comfortable riding, then tighten the stem bolts securely. Ensure the cables are not twisted.

Figure 3: Handlebar controls and display.
- Install the Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal threads counter-clockwise, and the right pedal threads clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and tighten them firmly with a wrench.
- Adjust the Seat: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the saddle height to ensure a comfortable and efficient pedaling position. Secure the quick-release lever or seat post clamp.

- Check Brakes and Gears: Test both front and rear brakes to ensure they engage properly. Verify that the gear shifter operates smoothly through all 7 gears.
- Inflate Tires: Check the tire pressure and inflate to the recommended PSI (usually found on the tire sidewall).
- Initial Battery Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when fully charged.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the handlebar display to turn the e-bike system on or off. The display will illuminate, showing battery level and assist mode.
Pedal Assist System (PAS)
The bike features a pedal assist system. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to select your desired assist level. Higher levels provide more motor assistance. The 350W brushless motor provides significant torque, making it easy to ride on various terrains.

Throttle Operation
For immediate power without pedaling, gently twist the throttle on the right handlebar. The throttle provides power up to the maximum speed allowed by the selected assist level or local regulations.
Gears (Shimano 7-Speed)
Use the Shimano shifter on the right handlebar to change gears. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding. Always ease pressure on the pedals when shifting for smoother transitions.
Lights
Press the 'LIGHT' button on the display to turn the front headlight on or off. Ensure lights are used during low-light conditions or at night for visibility.

Braking
The bike is equipped with disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Use both brake levers simultaneously for effective and controlled braking. Practice braking in a safe area to get accustomed to the feel.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure weekly and inflate to the recommended PSI. Proper inflation improves ride quality and prevents flats.
- Brake Inspection: Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and brake cables for tension. Adjust or replace as needed.
- Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
- General Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
- Fastener Check: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially on critical components like the handlebars, seat post, and wheels.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bike does not power on | Battery not charged, loose battery connection, power button not pressed correctly | Charge battery, check battery connection, press and hold power button firmly |
| Motor not assisting | PAS level too low, throttle not engaged, brake levers engaged, sensor issue | Increase PAS level, twist throttle fully, ensure brake levers are released, check for loose sensor cables |
| Brakes feel weak | Worn brake pads, loose brake cable, air in hydraulic system (if applicable) | Inspect and replace brake pads, adjust cable tension, consult a bike mechanic for hydraulic systems |
| Gears not shifting smoothly | Dirty/dry chain, misaligned derailleur, bent hanger | Clean and lubricate chain, adjust derailleur (refer to Shimano manual), consult a bike mechanic |
