Setup

Battery Installation

The remote control uses one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Locate the battery cover on the reverse side of the remote.
2. Use a coin or small tool to turn the battery cover counter-clockwise to the "OPEN" position.
3. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Replace the battery cover and turn it clockwise to the "CLOSE" position to secure it.

Pairing with Your Camera

The PHOLSY RMT-P1BT connects to your camera via Bluetooth. Ensure your camera's software is updated to the latest version for optimal compatibility. Refer to your camera's manual for specific Bluetooth pairing instructions if needed.

1. Before starting, ensure the Remote Commander's LOCK switch is in the unlocked position (opposite of "LOCK").
2. On your Sony camera, press the MENU button.
3. Navigate to the Network Options (often represented by a globe or network icon).
4. Enter Bluetooth settings.
5. Turn the Bluetooth function ON.
6. Enable Bluetooth remote control.
7. On the camera screen, select [Confirm] to initiate pairing.
8. On the PHOLSY remote, press and hold the Shutter-release button (completely press) and the + side of the Focus/Zoom button at the same time for at least 7 seconds.
9. When a confirmation message appears on the camera's screen, select [OK].
10. Once pairing is successful, the remote's indicator light will confirm.

After pairing, you can slide the LOCK switch on the remote to the "LOCK" position to disable all buttons and prevent unintentional operations during transport or storage.

Taking Pictures

Manual Focus Adjustment

To manually adjust camera focus:

• Slide the ZOOM/FOCUS switch on the side of the remote to the "FOCUS" position.
• Press the Focus/Zoom button (+/-) to enlarge the focus image and adjust focus.
