Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Battery not charging / ERR displayed | Non-rechargeable battery, defective battery, incorrect polarity, poor contact. | Ensure battery is rechargeable Ni-MH/Ni-CD. Check battery for damage. Reinsert battery with correct polarity. Clean battery terminals and charger contacts. |
| Charger not powering on | Power cable not connected, power outlet issue. | Check if the AC power cable is securely plugged into both the charger and the wall outlet. Try a different power outlet. |
| Charging is slow | Battery capacity is very high, charger is overloaded (unlikely with independent channels). | Charging time varies based on battery capacity. The charger is designed for high-speed charging; ensure batteries are suitable. |
| Charger or batteries get hot | Normal during charging, but excessive heat indicates an issue. | Ensure adequate ventilation around the charger. If excessively hot, remove batteries and unplug the charger. Do not use if overheating persists. |
