3. Product Overview

4. Setup
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the record player from its packaging.
- Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibration.
- Connect Power: Insert the power adaptor cable into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit. Plug the other end of the adaptor into a wall outlet.
- Remove Stylus Protector: Gently remove the white plastic stylus protector from the stylus (needle) before first use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Playing a Record
- Open the lid of the record player.
- Place a record on the turntable platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adaptor on the center spindle.
- Turn the FUNCTION knob to the PHONO position.
- Gently release the tonearm from its rest and position the stylus over the desired track of the record.
- Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record. The record will begin to play.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.
- When the record finishes, the turntable will automatically stop spinning (if auto-stop is enabled). Manually return the tonearm to its rest.
5.2 Bluetooth Operation
- Turn the FUNCTION knob to the BLUETOOTH position. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
- Enable Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- Search for "Victrola Parker" in your device's Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play music from your device through the record player's speakers.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob on the record player and your external device for optimal sound.
5.3 Auxiliary Input (AUX-IN)
- Connect an audio cable (not included) from the headphone jack or line-out of your external audio device to the AUX-IN jack on the record player.
- Turn the FUNCTION knob to the AUX-IN position.
- Play audio from your external device. The sound will be routed through the record player's speakers.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob on the record player and your external device.
5.4 RCA Output
To connect the record player to an external amplifier or powered speakers, use RCA cables (not included) to connect the RCA OUTPUT jacks on the back of the unit to the corresponding input jacks on your external audio system.
5.5 Headphone Jack
For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm headphones (not included) into the HEADPHONE jack on the unit. The built-in speakers will be muted when headphones are connected.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the lid closed when not in use to protect the turntable from dust.
6.2 Stylus Care
- Handle the stylus with extreme care. Avoid touching the stylus tip.
- Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing gently from back to front.
- A worn or damaged stylus can damage records and produce poor sound quality. Replace the stylus if it appears worn or damaged.
6.3 Record Care
- Always hold records by the edges or the center label.
- Store records in their protective sleeves when not in use.
- Keep records clean and free of dust. Use a record cleaning brush before each play.
