Operating
Once the marble run is assembled, place the marbles at the designated starting points. Observe the marbles as they travel through the various tracks, turns, and drops. The transparent design allows for clear viewing of the marble's journey. Encourage children to experiment with different marble release points and track modifications to explore concepts of gravity, motion, and cause-and-effect.
Maintenance
To maintain the longevity of your JOYIN Marble Run, regularly inspect all pieces for any damage or wear. Clean the plastic components with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Ensure all marbles are stored safely when not in use to prevent loss. Avoid exposing the set to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
Troubleshooting
- Marbles getting stuck: Check for any misaligned or loose track pieces. Ensure all connections are firm. Sometimes, adding a small piece of tape to loose connections can improve stability.
- Structure instability: Verify that the base pieces are correctly assembled and placed on a flat, stable surface. Re-check all connections, applying gentle pressure to ensure they are fully engaged.
- Marbles not completing the run: Ensure there are no obstructions in the tracks. For complex builds, verify that the incline of the tracks is sufficient for gravity to propel the marbles through the entire course.
