Initial Setup

Connecting the Console

  1. Place the Xbox Series X console in a well-ventilated area. Ensure there is adequate space around the console for proper airflow.
  2. Connect the Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT port on the console to an HDMI input on your television or monitor.
  3. Connect the power cable to the console's power input, then plug the other end into a power outlet.
  4. Press the Xbox button on the front of the console or on the wireless controller to power on the system.

Controller Setup

  1. Insert two AA batteries into the Xbox Wireless Controller.
  2. Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
  3. Press the Pair button on the console (a small circular button near the front USB port) and then press and hold the Pair button on the controller (located on the top edge, near the USB port). The Xbox button on the controller will flash rapidly and then remain solid when successfully connected.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

To power on the console, press the Xbox button on the console or the controller. To power off, hold the Xbox button on the controller and select "Turn console off" from the power menu, or press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds.

System Navigation

Use the Xbox Wireless Controller to navigate the dashboard. The left stick controls movement, the A button confirms selections, and the B button cancels or goes back. The Xbox button opens the Guide menu for quick access to features and settings.

Installing Games

Insert a compatible game disc into the disc drive. Digital games can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store. Ensure you have sufficient storage space on the internal SSD or an expansion card.

Quick Resume

The Quick Resume feature allows you to seamlessly switch between multiple games and resume instantly from where you left off. This feature is enabled by the Xbox Velocity Architecture, minimizing wait times.

No Video Output

Controller Not Connecting

  • Check the batteries in the controller and replace them if necessary.
